Hearthstone Homes

FAQ

What kind of homes does HearthStone Homes build?
HearthStone Homes builds a mix of Craftsman and European homes with a high level of standard amenities.
Where can I see the available floor plans, amenities and available homesites?
You can obtain most of the information you will need on the company's website. Additional information can be obtained from the Community Manager.
Can I buy the lot and have my own custom plan or my own builder?
Unfortunately, HearthStone Homes does not sell individual homesites without constructing the home as well. We have carefully selected floor plans which are quite desirable and have been given wonderful reviews by our buyers. Additionally, we want to protect the integrity of the community and allowing custom builders to offer other floor plans would disrupt the overall look and feel of the community.
I have found a home on your website that I love and want to purchase. How can I buy?
Visit the Community Manager at the location you desire and fill out a purchase agreement with him or her.
I have a Realtor representing me. Should they come as well?
Absolutely. HearthStone Homes appreciates the efforts of the Realtors in the community and seeks their input and participation in the home buying process.
If I don't bring my Realtor, can I get a lower price on the home?
HearthStone Homes does not offer any discounted pricing for buyers without Realtors. Doing so may encourage home buyers not to use their Realtors. Realtors are a vital part of the process and their contributions are valued.
How long will it take to build my new home?
From the pouring of the foundation to the time we hand you your keys, it usually takes around three and a half to four months. Things like weather, city permits, financing documents, etc. can sometimes cause delays.
I want my own contractor to come in to do something special during construction of the home. Is that okay?
Unfortunately, no. We have very strict insurance requirements and cannot allow anyone but our own approved subcontractors to perform work on your home.
If you have additional questions or would like more information, please contact the Community Manager for the location you are interested in.
